The front shows Bertha Freifrau von Suttner (Baroness Bertha von Suttner) born 9 June 1843 in Prague (then in Austrian Empire), died 21 June 1914 in Vienna. Born as Gräfin (Countess) Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau, she was an Austrian novelist, radical pacifist, and was the first woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize.

Back side of the note:

1,000 Schilling 1966 - back Castle Leopoldskron with the fortress Hohensalzburg. Leopoldskron is a rococo palace and a national historic monument comissioned in 1736.
